Rachel Vigers, Business Brand Strategist

Meet the founder

Rock.Partners was founded by seasoned business adviser Rachel Vigers.

For 17 years, Rachel worked as a strategic consultant in agencies in London & Hong Kong, advising clients of all shapes, sizes & sectors.  For 10 of those, she was on agency management teams - helping to build businesses as well deliver client strategies.

Alongside the 'day job', she also set up her own events business & co-founded a marine conservation charity.  It was building these enterprises that first inspired Rachel to venture out as an independent consultant, joining up business & brand strategy for SMEs.

Fast forward a further10 years & Rock.Partners was born (finally!) - offering complete management support, from strategy to delivery, across the whole business.

Where we stand:

Strategic planning is critically important for SMEs - especially during periods of rapid & regular change. But it's not easy to get it right.

Many of the clients we work with have already tried to find suitable strategic support - without success.

They've wasted money on courses that they never completed or didn't tell them anything new.  They've tried business coaches who talked a good game but didn't deliver.  They've hired marketing consultants or digital partners who each only looked at their own piece of the puzzle.

If you've been here, we hear you. That's why we're offering you a better way...

Rock's approach focuses on just four strategic foundations - Direction, Connection, Impact & Value - & then builds everything else out from there. We keep the strategy simple & shared across the business whilst saving the detail for delivery, sourcing & coordinating discipline specialists only where needed.

One strategy - no silos.

What we stand for

Our brand is our business - so we take it seriously
(oh, & we make one word work really hard!)

Rock attitude

Strategy is broken & Rock is out to fix it. No hesitation. No apologies.

Our ‘silo-free’ stance might defy mainstream models – but our rebellion is well reasoned.

In a world where reality loses out to complex models & outdated concepts, where buzzwords & sweeping statements take centre stage, where discipline specialists debate over who owns success, Rock’s joined-up, jargon-free approach stands out for its sheer simplicity & common sense.

If you’re looking for a better way of being more strategic, this is it.

Rock-solid

Our foundational approach is robust, relevant & realistic.

We join up strategy & delivery across the whole business, ditching siloed-thinking, departmental in-fighting & duplicated efforts in favour of clarity, confidence & cohesion.

We prioritise diversity of data sources over depth in one area, replacing rigidity, bias & missed opportunities with thinking that is both robust & relevant.

We work with where you’re at, leveraging your own skills & resources as best we can, upskilling where possible, outsourcing only where needed.

We'll help you to get stronger & stay that way.

Your Rock

We’re the rock you can rely on – at every stage of your business.

Some consultants drop a strategy & run but that's not how Rock rolls - we stick around to see it through. Our flexible business model is designed to accommodate client-needs over traditional consultancy agendas - meeting you where you're at, working with the resources you have available & plugging any gaps.

In the words of one of our clients, we  “give the emotional investment of a co-founder without giving away equity”.  We'll take that!
